Why? Penix is the best QB (pure arm) in this draft and requires a year to sit behind a vet QB which Cousins is more than capable of doing.. Flacons IMO just won the draft.

McCarthy is going to be a bust IMO - I don’t get the love for him, he’s definitely not top 10 worthy. So glad the Falcons didn’t go with him. And he’ll be thrown right into the fire in Minnesota and will be starting from day 1 probably, not a good situation IMO.

He is almost 3 years younger than Penix so the book really hasn't been written on him.

Kinda have to agree here. I think Penix is gonna be a solid NFL QB, but he's gonna have to wait a few years, unless of course Cousins is out for a year or something like that.
