Here is why these talking heads don't like it even though the all had Hurts sitting around #45-50 on their big boards, its cause there has been so much written about Carson and the locker room and how he takes things personal, they think this will back fire in the Eagles face, ( which it could) or it simply plays out the next time Wentz goes down this team doesn't miss a beat. They have restocked the wide receivers, they have Oline depth, the dline was stacked to begin with. They have depth and a faster roster that isn't one of the oldest in the league

How do you see the DL as being “stacked”? I like how they look inside at DT. But they really don’t have a double digit sack guy as an edge rusher. Barnett hasn’t performed as the top 15 pick and BG is getting long in the tooth. I like Sweat’s potential but it’s not like you can pencil him in as a big contributor until he proves it.

Howie did his best work on day 3 IMO, the trades back were shrewd and he got some good prospects late. I hated what he did on day 2 though.

Im not going to sleep on the Killins UDFA signing. I think he can absolutely bring depth. Not as much of the grinder I would like to have seen to match up with Sanders and Scott, but he does have speed and proved to be hard to tackle easily (mind you it was against AAC defenders).

He was electric in the Shrine Bowl - I think he makes the practice squad this year.

Fletch is a great football player but rushing as a 7 tech or a 9 tech isn’t taking advantage of his best skills in my humble opinion.

Yep. If in your game prep you note a weakness or a back up at Lt or RT you want to exploit, it will be in the game plan more but it should be a sparingly used change up. Fletch doesn’t even need to get home to make an impact. He draws a double team from G and C and that means you can predict protection will slide the extra man his way. It’s effective in setting up a blitz away from Fletch side.
