It’s just a way to get your major network channels in HD for free with some extras as well. Then stream what you want.

I was tired of dealing with the cable companies and I am willing to bet most people just hold the controller and flip and flip and flip

Another thing people do not realize ..those big cable boxes cost you at least 6 or 7 bucks in electricity to run every month.

I had 4 of them of my bill dropped by almost 40 bucks the month after.

Sick and tired of paying $135 a month for shitty programming. I am a Prime Member so I have Prime also have Netflix, pretty sure for $70.00 I may get HULU + Live TV

NFL, MLB, and the occasional NBA game when the Celtics are playing and the game is on in my area are the ONLY things I watch on cable tv. And I'll tell you what drives me crazy is every time I turn on cable my cable box basically "restarts" so it always reverts back to this noisy news channel with a bunch of noise pollution when I turn it on.

I'd cut it as well if not for sports. Can't remember the last time I watched an actual tv program that wasn't sports but it's been at least a bunch of years.

Netflix
Disney/ESPN/HULU bundle - Free with my wifes Verizon
HBO Max - Free with my AT+T Internet
Fubo
NFL+ App
Paramount - Free with my sons...something...
Apple TV - Free with my sons new Apple Air Mac.

WAY more than enough.

How do you watch blacked out NFL games?

Invest in a decent HD antenna for your roof.

I'm assuming you still have all the old coaxial cables (for cable tv) running to all of tv's from the outside.
Find the old cable connection box on the outside of your house and run that to the HD roof antenna.
Than just plug in the old coaxial cables for each TV in to the antenna input.

The best picture I get for anything is from the HD antenna. (I'm in NY so all the station are pretty close)

Tip of the day: Always watch sports on the dynamic picture setting on your TV.

.
HOA...no external antennae
Towers a in the 60 mile range.
Cable from the attic to the splitter box in the basement, then to the TV. 50' of cable? 60'?
Even with a booster my reception is...not HD.

I am going to try a different powered booster and see if that helps, but I get my local Fox, CBS, NBC, ABC through FUBO.

Blacked out?
I check The 506 every week.
If the Pats are the national broadcast game, like this week, I watch Live on the local station through FUBO (I am in Nashville area, not New England). My daughter just showed me last night I can record or even rewind live broadcast on FUBO.
If the Pats are not broadcast local I watch through the NFL+ App. I cannot watch live I can only see it after the game is done, but I also have no Commercials or commercial breaks, or at least very few.
But I may be able to watch those with with FUBO too.
FUBO is GREAT for sports and local. ALL Sports. ALL college games, all the world cup, all NBA...motorsports, skiing...etc.

Yea, that's why i mentioned that I was in NY.
Very different ball game when local station are much farther away.

There is a thing called AirTV ...it brings in your local channels in HD.
I myself have never tried it ...you have to pay for the gadget but there is no monthly fee.

It's tied to the Sling TV app ...and there is "Sling Free" No monthly cost.

That's what i have now because I just canceled Sling and giving Hulu another shot.

I ran 1200 feet with an amplifier to pirate the Superbowl for a church Superbowl party. Perfect signal!

I have Prime because I use it for ordering.
I have cable for babysitting my mother in law.
I have NFL+ for the games.

Sending mother in law to assisted living.
Going to have a fight with my wife over the cable! She is addicted to the Hallmark channel!
I'll get her a dirt cheap streaming service for Hallmark, Lifetime, other femmy shows.
I will also check on a signal strength for Atlanta and Columbus stations.
