Not sure about Hammer, but Unforgiven isn't really a Western.
I like it as a film (get the feeling Hammer didn't), but it's just not a classic Western.

Classic westerns don't cut it anymore. Same with classic everything. Times and people change.
You must have it confused with "The Shining".
My favorite Western was "One Flew Over The Cuckoos Nest".
