I hope so. I need some NFL football to watch. There's no good reason for young men, in prime athletic shape, should be in fear of a disease that has been harmful to, almost exclusively, the elderly.

It might be the people they are living with is why they opt out.

So they still have your 2021 rights?

I'm on a 4 year plan and the 5th year kicks in automatically at the end.......Think of it as a rookie 1st round contract.....

Owners probably not because they just care if games are played or not. If players opt out there is another person ready and willing to take their spot.

Coaches on the hot seat maybe because they regardless of what happens this year it won't result in them getting a free pass.

Coaches with job security probably not since they can likely write off what happens over the course of the year with their ownership.

Since the only evidence of this is Boston sports talk radio speculation, this screams of "Boo hoo: other teams' players aren't doing what the Patriots are doing. There must be a conspiracy!"

I don't fault individual players for looking out for their own well being, but don't cry when competitors decide to choose the other road.

Heard today that a recently signed UDFA can "opt out" and get 150K.

Seems like a good route for a lot of guys that most likely won't make a PS.
