I'm going to need some time on the UK/Jeffro showdown. That is not only close in match up but in votes so I'm going to go through it extra

Gay. This is why you should go to #1 playing #12, that why you won't have to worry about who ranks teams where, since most don't put much effort into it.

Okay, we can change it, how should we decide ties?

Let someone on the outside decide, Hammer, Ford, etc?

We tried that it doesnt work. Letting someone decide who doesnt really care isn't the way to go IMO.

Since Team J was ranked higher than Team K in our rankings, J automatically goes through since he already has 6 votes. :lame:

If you can think of a better way i'm all ears...

We tried that and it was a disaster. The loser of the tiebreaker never agrees to the decision. I wanted it that same way with a tie breaker guy and let's say that caused a lot of drama. If the guys drafting do the rankings then that's the best way to decide the winner of a tie game since it's 12 guys ranking compared to 1 outside voter.

Yeah but you got guys like me who do their rankings off a roll of the dice.

These things would be way better if people took the time and just broke down the individual match up.

Almost every vote this draft was "Team whatever" and that is it. No insight or reasoning at all.

Last draft people actually put forth an effort and had a voting strategy and explained it.

I'd be pretty ticked if I were Jeffro too. Lost on a ranking tie breaker when only 3 people(me, you and Nos) even remotely explained their voting reasoning.

There as to be a better way. And imo it starts with requiring people to explain their vote. Otherwise..why not just go back to the poll option and leave it open to all?

You need a reason why you lost written down. How about the guy voting thought the other team was better. Your not going to to get a reason from every person. Most want to avoid drama and listing your reasoning only causes that because the loser has now a gripe.

Constructive criticism doesn't form a gripe. It shows you where the other team edged you out. At least with a reasoning you see why someone voted against you.

Either way you are probably not going to like the outcome. But seeing someone put forth a tiny bit of effort after a long draft to explain why you lost...is better.
