Don't sweat it Milk, it's always a crapshoot. Your team, Steve's, Shane's, any of the guys that lost could have easily won the whole thing.

I think instead of 3 things, how about each guy can write a paragraph or whatever detailing what he likes about his team, things people might not know, strategies, etc. We always research our own guys the most, but I enjoy learning about these guys.

You always hear about the 27 Yankees, I have 3 of their starters. I'll say this, I had never looked up their season stats for that year. Just absurd. Gehrig hit over370 with 46 bombs and 175 RBI, Ruth hit like .350 with 60 bombs and like 150 RBI, they had 4-5 more guys hit well over .300. Just insane

HaHa, I said we could write it, if it goes 5000 words, you'd be better off writing a header that says "Don't bother reading" lol

Again, i don't care that i lost, i just am a little annoyed, that my strategy was not even seen... Maybe i just have to learn to draft only to make Milk happy, and if others like that will just be a bonus... And it is hard to even take into account the bench as a voter... But with a little information you can see why a certain bench player is on the bench and how he is valuable...

I am not upset at all... Just found the voting process not to be as much fun as the actual draft... Not even close... I really don't care that I lost, I do care that nobody was able to see my strategy, and why I made some decisions...
I hear ya man. We all put a lot of effort into shaping a team. Then it can end so quickly.

First time I did one of these, planned on having a write up for every game. All seven, of each round. Didn't happen. Still did in my head though.

But Im game to hear about Team Milk. Best part of these is learning more about players.

Ken Williams was the first 30-30 guy in MLB history, I didn't get a chance to say before I was out. He also had a better Slugging percentage than Mike Schmidt for his career. We really should think about the three items again....

Ya know something else thats cool is I think we are all starting to know each other so well we know who likes what players and know others voting tendencies so that might directly or indirectly affect our drafting.
Definitely!

Can you post on rules post and also this is just to decide tie breakers correct?

Couldn't we have same points for all sports. Baseball take out offense and defense but put Hitters and Pitching.

No, because how about the bench... a good bench doesn't necessarily have the best players... I would prefer some specialty players on my bench, same thing with bullpen... having a lefty and a righty specialist is a good thing to have...

I think maybe before voting each round, instead of pumping up your own stats, we might post any adjustments we would make and how we would beat our next opponent. Can you match up lefty/righty, will you run more, switch your lineup, etc.

This is the way I would do baseball rankings:

1-5 hitters- 1-20
6-9 hitters- 1-10
Usage of 1-5 hitters- 1-5
usage of 6-9 hitters- 1-3
1-2 pitchers- 1-20
3-5 starting pitcher- 1-10
Usage of rotation(Lefty and Righty balance, etc..)1-5
1-2 bullpen - 1-15
3-6 bullpen- 1-5
Usage of Bullpen- 1-3
Bench- 1-10
usage of bench- 1-5 (defensive specialist, Pinch hitter, pinch runner, etc)
overall defense- 1-10

Max score 121(I like palindromes)

I dont like batters 6 - 9 have less value if anything they should have more, everyone usually has a great 3-4-5 but 6 - 9 sways my vote alot.

I guess I just don't like putting more value on the top 2 starters either, those are the easy picks usually.

I like the way I listed the values. It will change for the other sports though.

Interesting that the part of it you don't like is what I think is most important!!!
