I know Cleveland’s roster might be a mess with contracts but dammmn looking at Miami’s it’s not good at least this year. Richardson and Waiters are very good contract then you got Whiteside, Johnson, Tyler Johnson, Dragic meh. At least they have player options on Whiteside, Dragic and Johnson in 19-20 which makes for a LOT more flexibility.

That is A LOT of work if it isn’t a sign-and-trade. They would have to shed a lot of cap and what it makes it more difficult is that $25m from the Bosh contract is there if I am correct. Is there some way of a buyout to get rid of that, including that they are at $144M. I would think a sign and trade would be the only option or they deal half the team. Seems like a basically impossible task

Bosh's contract is off the books. Has been for a couple of years now.

TJ's contract is bad considering it's a poison pill. James Johnson is just bad. Dragic's isn't bad.

Whiteside at the time was a sufficient contract. But he's become a head case.

"become"?

or, acted like he was not a head case for just long enough to get paid?

Heat are paying Hassan Whiteside and Tyler Johnson a combined close to 90 million over the next 2 years. Well over a third of their payroll is spent on those 2 guys for the next 2 seasons.

You're really going to laugh at another teams payroll when your shitshow organisation is even more fucked?

The TJ thing never made sense.

The other 3 are all fine IMO.

Not every roster can be molded like the Warriors or Rockets.

Think we were stuck with James Johnson. He's an okay player.

Whiteside has been a significant disappointment in the way he conducts himself in recent months. I'm just off the guy's bandwagon. Luckily we're really only stuck with this roster for next year. By then, all of these contracts are expiring contracts. Because this team needs an overhaul.

TT makes what 36 million over the next 2 seasons? That's a lot for what he provides.

Wonder if the Cavs try to get rid of 1 of those 2 contracts, Got to figure it's in the back of their minds.

That's 2 pretty bad contracts they have.

At least Whiteside and Johnson are in their primes.

JR makes at least 3 bad contracts.

Dragic's isn't that bad at all since most PG's get paid and he runs that offense. You take him off that team and they'd be a lottery team.
