Wiggy is the most knowledgeable poster on this board other than @CitySushi . Sure, he's a bit overzealous toward LeBron and Kyrie at times, but this is a Heat/Laker-driven board I've seen a hell of a lot worse from Heat and Lakers fans such as yourself.

i dont know why you are laughing. They already have the hardest piece of the puzzle- an-in-his-prime star among the best in the game signed up long term. If you have that- ESPECIALLY in the East- you can without a doubt compete if you make some good moves

Taking an avi bet would be insinuating that Dwyane Wade is such a big part of my life. He isn't.

That being said, I've been able to gain mutual respect for Wade now that he's been able to see life from the other side of the stick. Also doesn't hurt that Jerry Stackhouse is my life idol, and Wade's style of play is quite similar to his. The main difference is that Stack had to work for everything he got in this league, while Wade was given a lot at an early age in the NBA.

But, he's still not worth an avi bet...

If we could just acquire at least a decent point guard and an interior defensive presence to help out Turner, we're probably Cleveland's biggest threat going forward.

Somebody in the east has to challenge the Cavs one of these years, and it might as well be us. LeBron can't play forever...

I sure hope so. I love me some PG13 and would love to see Larry trade him to my Lakers. But I also like the idea of seeing the Pacers back in the hunt in the East. Hopefully, you guys can get some help via FA/trades and make a serious run at the Cavs starting next season.

I previous years that wasn't really the case, though. George Hill was more than an adequate option in the team's grind-it-out style of a few years ago. At this stage in his career however, Hill is mostly a spot-up shooter. Not the best fit for the new style that Bird is seeking.

When he was originally posed the question back in February, of course no one "wants" to be a free agent at that particular point in the season, bu he knows as well as you and I do, that's just not how business works. Again, not saying Wade "definitely won't" return to Miami, but my bold prediction is still going to be the Spurs until the summer day comes when he signs the dotted line in Miami.
