You can’t show where Wilson’s contract contains a clause which says he’s required to elevate the play of others as you claimed, so you fall back on insults. That’s awesome.

They were what? 1-5....and they went on a winning streak to get back into the WC race.

And apparently 2 months ago they wanted Wilson to restructure....he could have said fuck this and mailed it in. He didn't. He did what a leader does.....rally the troops and they started winning games....

Wilson’s play is what kept Denver in the hunt. It’s pretty clear that Payton had a personal grudge against Wilson from the time he was hired.

Wilson has had a negative thing attached to him ever since Seattle lost that Super Bowl against NE on the worst play call in Super Bowl history.

Part of it is Seattle was ridiculed when they drafted him. They called it a wasted pick because of his size. He proved those people wrong and they didn’t like it. There’s always been an element of the NFL establishment types which have wanted him to fail.

But it's arguable it was the defensive turnaround that powered the team's resurgence more so than production from the QB position. He's had a great career. The Seahawks are a completely irrelevant franchise without him. He was a big part of two conference championships and a Super Bowl win. Seahawks fans should always have a special place in their heart for him. He didn't work out here in Denver.

Brees was a complete different personality than Wilson. There’s an obvious personality clash with Wilson and Payton and it has impacted Payton’s coaching decisions. Payton was and is a very overrated coach.

My point is nobody who is a Broncos fan is worried about that loss. Nobody who is a Broncos fan would trade the Broncos legacy for the Seahawks. If we're talking only by today's standards, then a fan of one irrelevant franchise is camped out on the page of another irrelevant franchise. At least I can say the Broncos are my team. I'd also argue that your continued presence here suggests the Seahawks are less relevant even to you than the Broncos are. But don't worry: you're not the first. The Broncos as a franchise just seem to get into Seahawks fans' heads. I guess they wish the Seahawks had the legacy the Broncos do.

It is, isn't it? Broncos living rent free in the minds of Seahawks fans. I don't understand it either given the move to the NFC OVER TWENTY YEARS AGO. If that wasn't enough, surely that Super Bowl win over the Broncos should have been enough to excise all the demons. Apparently not.

I watched Wilson play for ten years. I’m not sure why someone thinks it says something odd for anther person to follow his career and comment on his performance or how he is being treated in a different place.
