I would have chosen the rockets, but as has been pointed out, they have had suspensions to deal with (though that could be some of the disappointment)

Yeah.

Rockets start will he a distant memory in a month. Aside from the fact it will keep them from contending for the 1 seed.

Rox will be top 4

How bad have things gotten in washington?

So bad that they can't even win the poll for most disappointing start with a 1-7 record.

Cmon people! Let me have this win at least!

Well its official, the Wizard have this poll.

Sixers are 25-14, 4th place in east. Thunder 24-13, 2nd place in west. Rockets 22-15, the hottest team in the league right now. The Lakers were hot, but cooled off lately. The wizards started off bad and are continuing too be bad.

Eh, not really. It depends on what you consider disappointing. I consider a team that was highly viewed as a Western Conference finals favorite, JUST getting 20 wins now a disappointment. Houston should not have been as bad as they were.

It's still the Celtics......
Meh... if the C's are at the top of this list, there simply hasn't been much disappointment in the NBA this season.

My personal list would be

Wizards - Expected to be a playoff team maybe even a mid-seed. Instead they are a bottom 5 team
Celtics - They were expecting to be a 60 win team and perhaps the 2nd best team in basketball. Right now they are projecting to be a 47 win team.
Rockets - They have the biggest dropping off in wins versus expected wins. This is mitigated somewhat by the number of injuries they have dealt with.
Jazz - I thought they could be a 3 seed. Their schedule has been very tough so far but still expected them to better than they are right now.

From a fan perspective I'd probably go Wizards, Pistons, Timberwolves.

Wiz have their 3 max, 1 is hurt, but even when healthy it wasn't going to happen. Stuck with that for some time to come.

Pistons bet on Griffin and Drummond, not working. At least they can get a do over soon.

The fact they're both in the East and aren't sniffing the playoffs at this point isn't a good look.

Timberwolves for a similar reason, KAT and Wiggins, not happening. This is mainly on their commitment to Wiggins, really hurts their ability to do something while they have KAT.

As for one of the top teams in each respective league only being in the top 5? Meh, I don't think they're concerned with it and are only thinking about how to make sure they get right once the playoffs start.

I never saw the Wizards as a long term threat. Wolves for sure are way too talented to be this bad but sorry, the Celtics are the biggest flop. They simply don't have a tight enough roster or nucleus. Sadly, I think Jaylen has to be moved as well as Terry

Fast forward and you have to go with the Wiz and Celtics (not an option).

The Rockets are starting to heat up thanks to Harden.
The Sixers are doing just fine.
The Lakers were expected to have some troubles, especially not having Lebron.
The Thunder have turned it around after a slow start like Houston.

The Celtics aren't an option but they should be despite being 7 games over .500. It's not even about the record it's about the inconsistency and going forward.
