Rivers is 3rd in ypa

Team is 5-2

Is the best qb vs pressure and play action

Is 3rd in big plays

So if we look at vs front runner Mahones. Rivers has less ints, higher comp%, higher passer rating, higher ypa.

So, casual... how is this "nope" again?

I think the argument for Mahomes over Rivers right now is brute force TD's and a minimal difference elsewhere. Within .6 in INT%, Within 1% in Sack%, etc. May have a better team, but the offense is also putting up historical numbers so I don't think that hurts him that much either. Helps to have the QBWINZ over Rivers in the MVP voting, but that's kind of dumb tbh.
