I was trying to make the point that Mahomes had not been tested but @Terry Rode made a valid point about Saints schedule.

I agree with your list for the most part. I just didn't get the comment about the Saints schedule. Made no sense to me. If they think a player on a 11-5 team deserves MVP over a player on let's say a 13-3 team then the player on the 11-5 team will win the award. I highly doubt they're analyzing SOS as a way to determine which player deserves MVP.

That SOS is just a real silly argument.

Yuck, I can't believe I'm going to say this but I agree. If the voting was close things like SoS should help in deciding as well as let's say it's between a QB playing half or more of their games in a dome while another plays outside with the elements. Why wouldn't you use that in your decision making process? It certainly has an effect.
