Lets say they are all running behind an average oline.
I still think Gurley is special and I would still take him over the other 3 but its pretty close.Point and case EVERYONE would be picking Todd Gurley as the best RB of the 4 if it were still August.

this.where's the Arizona back?
Last week is was the best of the bunch that included Bell.
way to early and besides, like emmitt, it's the line anyways.
IMO David Johnson is the definition of a system back. I blame that NFL behind the scenes show from last year a little bit on that, though.where's the Arizona back?

1. Elliott
2. McCoy
3. Murray
I would put Murray higher if he wasn't injury prone.
I try not to label players.IMO David Johnson is the definition of a system back.
The first time Murray played a full season since high school was during his breakout year in Dallas and he decided to play through a broken thumb that year. He probably wouldn't normally have toughed it out and played all 16 but it was a contract year.I'd say Shady is more injury prone than Murray at this point.
Elliot looks really promising. But he's playing behind an absolutely dominant line.
I would like to see how he plays when a couple of the Cowboys starters are out and the line isn't bullying people around.
Where is Jay Ajayi? That kid is playing incredibly good. He has a better yards per attempt than Zeke, and if he hadn't been benched for being a jerk in week one he would likely be right behind Zeke in total rushing yards too. Ajayi wasn't even the starter until about week 4 when it became obvious he was outplaying Foster. In his first 3 games Ajayi only touched the ball 18 times and he's still 6th in rushing yards.
Now don't get me wrong, Zeke is phenomenal and he's playing out of his mind but Ajayi should be getting more credit than he's receiving so far too.
How bout Melvin Gordon, the one young back in this league that is seemingly overlooked, he is getting better and better
Than of course Johnson and Bell
