Understand what you were watching...and it wasn't two true contenders.

How can you get 3 first half turnovers in your opponents field and only get 10 points, at home and not take control of the game? You're not a contender if you cannot get more offense generated than what you showed in this game. Yes, you can claim that you were at your 3rd and 4th backs, but the Vikings knew that coming in and needed to come up with a game plan that minimized that reality and the didn't.

On the flip side, how in the hell do you expect to compete with the elite teams of the NFC when you're giving the ball away on your side of the field 3 times in a half? How do you expect to compete with elite teams when you can't put together sustained drives or come up with big plays other than late in the game when the outcome is basically decided. Who are you going to go to when your 1st and 2nd options aren't available. Green Bay's only real chance is is Rodgers gets over his arrogance and trusts his other options to make the plays when they're there, and he regains some of the other worldly accuracy he hasn't had for 2 years.

Verdict, neither of these teams are contenders for the silver football atop a pyramid.

I think every single MNF pregame crew picked the Vikings by double digits.

Green Bay against the world.

If you make a play anything can happen.

he took away the entire Viking o-line's manhood tonight. i'm embarrassed for them.

To be fair, he's awesome, but Kenny Clark takes a lot of the pressure off of him as he's getting double on every play, so those 2 together are for real...

That's reality when half of your conference sucks...and to be fair half of the AFC is just as bad or worse...but their middle is actually competitive...hence the insanity for the last wild card spot

Who would have bet that the Packers would sweep their division games this year? Liars!

They haven't finished that off yet...and you're old enough to know that it's not over until it's truly over and they've all been played...

BTW..tickets for the game in Detroit can be had for $25 ...so if you live in the Midwest and don't have plans for next Sunday...that's as cheap a Packer's ticket as you'll be able to get for a long time

Yes, but you know damn well this team beating another division rival is never a given...it hasn't been since 1921...

There are only 3 teams that are undefeated in their division as of now---New England, Kansas City and Green Bay. Nice company.
