looking at their schedule I could see a best case scenario where they start out the season challenging Wisconsin for 3 quarters until Wisconsin pulls away in the 4th quarter

then they follow that up by beating Washington State, Hawai'i, Southern Utah, Nevada, Wyoming, and Colorado State. Then they lose to Boise State but keep it close, then beating New Mexico before losing the last 3

so 7-5 with losses to Boise State, Wisconsin, Air Force, San Diego State and TCU is not at all bad for a young team, and would be a great foundation for the program.

mentioning TV UNLV is going to get good exposure playing Wisconsin on espn. If they can hang around for a bit in the game it would certainly do good for them.
