I guess he must be getting nervous about Mahomes:

“I’m not opposed to it,” Brady said when asked on the “DeepCut with VicBlends” podcast if he would pick up the phone if a team in need called him with an offer. “I don’t know if they are going to let me if I become an owner of an NFL team.

“I don’t know, I’m always going to be in good shape. I’ll always be able to throw the ball. So, to come in for a little bit, like M.J. coming back, I don’t know if they’d let me, but I wouldn’t be opposed to it.”

The podcast host, Vic Blends, mentioned the San Francisco 49ers needing a quarterback in the playoffs as a potential scenario when asking his question in the episode released Thursday, while Brady mentioned the New England Patriots and Las Vegas Raiders before he answered, adding, “You never know.”

Las Vegas Raiders owner Mark Davis told ESPN in May 2023 that he and Brady had “come to an agreement” for the future Hall of Fame quarterback to join the organization’s ownership group, pending NFL approval.

Brady, Smith and Howell..

That'd have to be the biggest collective range of QB ages on a team in NFL history lmao.

23, 34 (about to be), and 46 I think? Almost a perfect 11 year gap between em?

Howell was born in Sept. 2000. Brady was born in Aug. 1977.

so that makes Brady ( just slightly more than ) twice as old as Howell.

If you let Brady play for any of the worst NFL teams, that team would improve drastically. And that would be fun to watch.

He could sit on the Steelers bench behind Russell Wilson and Justin Fields, (whilst they mentored him).

Tom Brady believes the biggest problem with young athletes nowadays is their self-centered attitude.

“And I think the biggest problem with a lot of f***ing kids these days is it’s all about them. It’s all about them. Their brand, their social media… when it’s about me and not us, well there’s no way to succeed as a team, if all you’re doing is thinking about how selfish it is for you to get the attention."
