And they don't need to play them because they have set up a format that allows them to hide in their P5 leagues and get credit for their identity and perception. The entire Big 12 had one OOC win versus a winning team but because they are P5, their conference games are all they need to get respect which is what counts in a beauty contest even though the Big 12 has the same number of ranked teams as the AAC. The incentive to schedule UCF on even terms should be much greater than scheduling FCS teams for example but P5 leagues demand their 7+ home game schedules.

Why is UCF offering a lopsided deal to UCONN? Why are they refusing to go and play at UConn? Is UCF going to play at any FCS stadium? Why not? I don't agree with FCS games at all but those teams are only played at home to everyone's benefit. I'm not arguing that FBS and FCS should be treated the same.
