if sims can be a decent gunner ( spot opposite FM is open ), he could sneak past quick for a roster spot ,

gruden has said more emphasis on playing special teams will factor in people staying or going . he could surprise

quinn can return punts but he is of little use elsewhere , quick hasnt played much on teams and harris returns punts as well so we will see

yes dean , sims is last on the totem pole at this time

i think perine will play better in year 2 . that doesnt mean JG wont abandon it from time to time (ok alot ) but a healthy o/line with an older wiser perine should be passable

Well skindad I don't think the RG will be passable. Unless the blocking improve the writing is on the wall. Now we can debate this but lets just say for now I hope you are right. Based on the pass I have lost faint in JG restless desire to pass the ball more often but hey would love nothing than JG prove me wrong. We will see.

a healthy o/line with 3 potential pro bowlers should get the job done . , just saying

Rookie report: Undrafted free agent corner Danny Johnson continues to impress. The question is, will it be enough? Johnson made plays vs. the Patriots and did so again today vs. the Jets. On one play he appeared slightly beaten at the line but did not give up more ground, stayed on the receiver's front hip as he ran down the seam and then broke up a pass. The Redskins do like fellow rookie corner Greg Stroman, a seventh-round pick. Johnson might have more ground to make up in the next three games but he's off to a good start.
