So far, in the 9th, the 2,3,6,7,8, and 9th Phillies lineup positions have no hits. I was too generous. I thought the Mets were only team with Cys on it.

I wonder where the Phillies went?

We all know this rebuilding team is not that good yet. We were treated to a surprising winning start the first two months but that couldn't last because new guys like Joseph and Franco are really still getting acclimated to MLB pitching and learning, teams adjust to new pitchers, and key pieces in the lineup are missing.

The Phils are now 30-37 after going 4-16 in the last 20 games. Not too shabby on balance. I see more of the same the rest of the year as the young staff learns and struggles and we see what Asche and Altherr can do and what Bourjos, Parades, and Galvis can't do. Hope they start promoting good hitting double AA guys to LHV soon so missing pieces can be added by next year.

Let's see... A TD and FG versus a safety. Splendid, just freakin' splendid!
