To recap... as of 3:30pm, March 23, 2016, there is a TORNADO WATCH, Winter Storm Warning, Blizzard Warning and Winter Weather Advisory in the state of Nebraska at the same time.

Lincoln Nebraska currently has the worst air quality on earth regardless of size right now. 180 on the index. For comparison, some of the most polluted cities in the world like in China or Japan have better air quality than us right now (around 160 to 175) because of the controlled fires in middle Nebraska and northern kansas being blown directly into our area at a slow rate of speed.

When you step outside today, you'll know what it's like to live there. Smells like burnt straw and there's a gross smog.

And it's not actually "the worst" but it's right up there with the more notorious cities.

A lot of that has to do with the Jetstream coming across the north from China from what I understand.

And about that snow..... I live in Denver and some weather simulations are projecting 5" of rain/water precipitation. That equates to 40"-50" of snow depending on how dense it is. We'll see how that goes.

Could be a big deal downstream as that water runs down the Rockies without soaking in.

Omaha has had shitty air for years. I used to commute from a small town to the east. On a clear morning you could see a brown haze hanging over the entire city. You city boys can have that shit.
