Heard on the radio that we were in serious talks about Marcus Stroman with the Blue Jays. His overall numbers this year aren't that good, but since he returned from the DL, his ERA is right at 3, and he dominated us.

They're playing the Marlins in a 4 game series, and as bad as they've been against everyone else, they own the Marlins. They'll probably take 3 out of 4 from them and then back out, and then they'll go back to being mediocre against everyone else.

And at any rate, if they don't have a good weekend and they sell off some pieces, I'd actually be impressed. I figured they'd be like the Phillies and try to hold on two years too long before starting the rebuild.

We might see Touki this year. I would love to bring him up. Has allowed only 4ER in 5 AAA starts.

By God if you would have told me Anibal Sanchez would be our ace at the beginning of the season, I would have laughed at you.

But offense needs to help him out.

This soft tosser Rich Hill has owned us his entire career.

If we can win tonight, I like our chances of getting a split because we've owned Alex Wood.
