Julio has sucked but 3 of the runs arent his fault. Ender and Dansby have let us down defensively.

Julio was AWFUL...but so was our defense. Ender,Dansby, Johan, and Charlie all fucked up. Ender cost us 2 runs and Dansby cost us 1.

Well, we sicked ass all the way around today. We needed that one with LA coming in for 4, but we just don't have the fire anymore, and we damn sure don't win series anymore.

That Chen dude for the Marlins is now 3-7 on the year, and I'm pretty sure we account for 2 of those wins. But he does have a sub 2 ERA at home. We had our chances offensively today, but when you might win 2 or 3 games a year when you allow 9 runs.

When Julio sits in the low 90's with his fast ball and his slider is working, he will have a good start. 3 of his 4 starts before today were good.

If he's throwing too hard or not hard enough or if the slider isn't working, he might as well be throwing batting practice.

If there's any silver lining, our bullpen didn't allow any runs this series and I only remember 1 walk from them.

Viz is gonna be out for a while, and it doesn't look like AA is in any hurry to help us out, so I'm just not too optimistic about our chances the rest of the way.

I'm hearing that we have minimal interest in Mike Moustakas. So that's good news. But we let the Red Sox get Nate Eovaldi when we could have really used another starter and the Yankees got Zach Britton.

Ive read we are trying to get Archer...but IMO he is just like Teheran where he started his career strong but has sucked the last 2 years. Only player I wamt from the Rays is Romo. I also think we should go after Steckenrider, he has been dominate against everyone but us.

I'd take a shot on Archer if the price is right. Sometimes a struggling AL pitcher finds his stuff again in the NL when the batters aren't as familiar.

I'd be fine with Steckenrider. He's from the Atlanta area and I'd say nerves about facing his favorite team are why he sucked against us.
