I hope we can improve as well. I just think hiring a new hc is rolling the dice. There are a lot of bad coaches looking for a job. That being said I think Bo needs to find a DC who is a known commodity and bring him on as well as step back from the Defense.

Although Saturday raised a few doubts , I think Beck is doing well with our offense and dont think we need any changes other than that which graduation will bring. No I dont hate Taylor, Im just ready for the next man up.

Do you think Bo "I still know something about defense" is going to hire someone to come in and give him free reign to do whatever he wants with this defense?

That's not going to happen. And keeping Pelini on is just as much rolling the dice as hiring a new coach except we know the dice we're rolling with Pelini seem to crap out a lot.

I guess where I am at is I am willing to give him the benefit of the doubt on this outburst. It was evident something happened to get him to calm down now we know what it was. So if that is the case then he was counseled and took the counsel to heart. I wouldn't fire the guy for that.

His record of work on the field. That is another story. And as fans our support should and does speak millions, literally. This program brings in millions off tickets, tv revenue, licensed items and donations. Without that this program (and many others within the university system) would not exist. So while it might sound high minded to say we should have no say, that is just not true. If it was then his statement would have never got the attention it did. Instead the media would of reported that whining fans were whining again. Instead they reported that Pelini went on a tirade against the fans that had sold out Memorial Stadium for over 50 years.

I'm fine with this. I could give a rats ass what Bo thinks of fair weather fans. I do care about how the program performs when the ball is teed up for play. Win the games and I am good.

A B1G title would be nice, but not required for him to keep his job. Playing in the CCG is.

This tape incident doesn't change what's going to happen at the end of the season if the trend of getting bent over the goal post continues. I'd rather have a coach that wins and says fuck allot than one who just says fuck allot

Amen

I'm laughing at some the Facebook sites for husker fan haha all this we love you bo!
Lol last week y'all were done with him

This is Another husker embarrassing story /showing for the nation to laugh at

CC and bcs bowl or GTFO bo

The line about him leaving is the only part that I don't like but if you think about the timing. Ohio St has an interim head coach, he just beat him, his former school, I think he felt he was getting that job and that win was his audition.

Relax, every program has a time when they are in the spotlight for some fucked up reason. This is just one among many this week. Look at Texas.

I am in the camp that says "win and we don't care what you say", but this guy should be done after this season is over unless we see a complete turnaround with the defense (which I don't see happening) and we at least play in the CCG.

The problems I guess I still have is that concerning the tape he said he "heard there was something out there" and "I don't know any of the specifics" then Harvey says that TO already addressed it with Bo. Huh? Somebody's lying here on that subject.

Also, as already pointed out, way too many members of the media (many of whom are defending him) say that yes he has looked for other jobs, like Penn State, OSU, Miami and Tennesee, and then Bo says "I've never went looking for another job" while being here. Another one in the bullshit column.

He's going to have to change a whole lot in my mind for me to be good with him as a coach - and yeah, I was okay with firing him on the spot Saturday before fuckgate started. Now I realize it would be worse to fire him now than at the end of the season, but I will assume that he will not change enough this year to prevent getting blown out by somebody and he will be gone.

Before all of this I was frustrated with Bo but kind of liked the guy - now more frustrated and like him a lot less. I'll be more forgiving when I see the wins.

Given the situation, football speaking, I give him about a 30% chance of retaining his position

If he turned this program around I don't have a problem. I think he knows just exactly how much fans mean in Nebraska now.

Good decision, if they're going to fire Bo it shouldn't be over over-sensationalized things he emotionally said in a presumably private situation 2 years ago. It should be because the product on the field sucks. And because of that, I'm still not sure his job is safe.

I was sort of waiting to see how we fared against ucla, it went exactly how I thought it would so I no support (Bo)

My expectations were for changes in the 7 months of off-season.

The time for Bo to react would have been in January, after reviewing the entire bodies of work for 2011/2012.

Minor reactionary changes now don't mean anything to me, other than we're still dealing with a egotistical, stubborn, liar.

As Jed mentioned earlier my biggest problem with the audio was when Pelini said something along the lines of, "The times coming, Lets see how they'll do without me."

It's a character issue, an integrity issue, it comes off as Bo think's he is bigger than the program or the university at this point. He thinks that highly of himself, above Husker Football, that we are fucked without him. That's when you can 'Go fuck yourself Bo'

I don't think he'll be coaching next season, and anyone who still supports Bo is delusional and doesn't realize that the only reason we only lose 4 games a year is because we usually only play about 4-5 good games a year. It's hard to not be able to win at least one of those. Fuck mediocrity.
