Jd burke in the cesspool saying he thinks zadina will fall to the canucks

He declined to go to the van giants when they selectedhim in the euro junior import draft

If Van would take a decent prospect for Tanev, may I introduce them to Andrew Nielsen? He comes with a lot less "I WANT TO KILL THAT FUCKING GUY" from his coaching staff.

Canucks have another chance at a Tkachuk, they wouldn't pass for a 3rd time, would they?

Cesspool saying yesterday they were much higher on him than they were on his brother

would you take Ryan Reaves on the Sharks ?

Depends on the price tag. I get the need for some sand paper, I just don't like spending the multi year, multi million dollar contracts on it. Just go to home depot (AHL) and see what they have in stock. No need to specialty order.

And with all the excitement clearing this much space has created, I'd be disappointed if the biggest splash is Reaves.

I would hope reaves wouldnt be the biggest splash for any team. Lol

I thought he might be a great fit with the sharks. Has some game for a fourth liner. I think hes gonna get overpaid sonewhere though.

Was last year this boring leading up to the draft? One measly trade (well two, but centered on the same guy) in the entire week prior to it and nothing at all by 3 pm on the day of?

Come on NHL, be exciting for once!

Meh. I like it this way.

It should be about the prospects not the trades

If that is Zadlina than i don't see him going past Montreal.

They need C badly
Most rankings have Kotkaniemi as the highest-rated C. Teams obviously could see differently but that does seem to be the consensus.

What's the fun in that?

They are supposedly going to take Kokobongo dude, the centre from finland at 3

They were using their twitter account to try and smokescreen everyone into thinking they were taking other players (“heres a picture of us taking zadina to dinner”) so they could trade down and take koko

I can't see the Flames standing pat with no draft pick until the 4th round. It might not be a major trade, but something is going to happen.

That's exactly my issues. Doug likes to pay top dollar for enforcers. It's almost like he does it just to show that he can.

sekeres also made the comment yesterday that every time Matt Tkachuks name came up with Brady, Brady made sure to say that he wanted to play with his brother some day

Wilson once croned about letting the penalty box be our enforcers
The next year he brought in Mike Brown.
The year after, he extended Mike Brown and added John Scott.
The NHL hasn't got pussy enough of yet to not have a guy who can fill that role

Agreed, but when they are a dime a dozen, I don't want to pay 75 cents for one.
