This 7-Round mock is a damn good one and pretty close to reality!

A few names in there that I haven't read up on (like that WR). I do think that's a bit early on Ali, since he's injured.

Tried another PFN mock, where McCarthy fell to 19. Ideally for this one, the Rams would've added an Edge via FA, since Hunt is pretty raw. Tried to go value without reaching, but Edge otherwise needs to be addressed earlier which taking a QB at 19 messed with. Those last 3 picks have been my go-tos in every mock lately lol, using the late picks to grab overlooked (and underrated) guys instead of risking UDFA.

19. J.J. McCarthy, QB Michigan
52. Zach Frazier, OC West Virginia
83. Calen Bullock, S USC
99. Khyree Jackson, CB Oregon
153. Kitan Oladapo, S Oregon State
154. Javon Foster, OT Missouri
177. Jalen Coker, WR Holy Cross
191. Jalyx Hunt, EDGE Houston Christian
212. Isaac Guerendo, RB Louisville
217. Zach Heins, TE South Dakota State
218. Joshua Karty, K Stanford

If McCarthy drops to us, I'd trade back a bit and stockpile more picks.

McVay and Snead both recently intimated that the trade-up or down in the First two Rounds is going to dictate whether the Rams go get one of the many QBs in this draft. This is also affected by the more pressing need for O-lineman and CB in those same rounds. A third variable is whether or not the Rams re-sign Wentz and/or trade for or sign Wilson. I think the Rams really want one of those two tackles or a CB like Q. Mitchell. Or this all could be bullshit to cover what they are really going to do.

I would like a first round pick who can come in and be an immediate difference maker. Picking a QB in the first round seems like a luxury pick we can't afford at this point. A 3rd or 4th Rounder we can develop for a year or two seems like a better choice.

Sure. Was just looking to do something different (I do so many of these when bored at work lol). If the Rams did want to go QB this year early, JJ seems like a ideal choice. He's young enough and needs to sit and learn, so a year or two behind Stafford could easily work.

Here is the list of O-lineman from which the Rams should get two: An OT and that Oregon Center in Round 2. Quite a few OTs and there are few missing on this list like Fuaga, Suamataia, Paul, Puni, Leveston, Belton, Concalves, Jones, Rouse, Glaze, Laumea, Flax, and Greenfield, So we don't necessarily need to take an OT in the First Round unless the Rams want a start-right-away OT.

The question that is rapidly becoming the primary focus is what the Rams will do in the First Round. The consensus is growing that the Rams will either trade-up to get Fashanu (now it is Odunze from Washington) from PSU or trade back to get both another OT, one of 12 possibilities, and a Center, EDGE, or CB in the Second Round. Much of this depends on whether the Rams tender LT, A. Jackson. Also, the Rams are not tendering an offer to C. Roseboom. They are going to let him walk. We shall see what happens on both fronts starting next week.

Another pretty-close-to-reality mock, UVA. There are a lot of folks who believe the Rams are going to trade up to get Fashanu.

I see Odunze, Fuaga, Estime and Ford making it to the Rams. MAybe even Nix. That would be a good draft.

I think they need to trade up for any of Odunze, Fuaga or Nix. Estime ran a 4.71, not sure of the appeal there. Ford could fit.

PFN mock with 2 trade-downs (first 2 picks) to move up later and my fave 1 late prospects (although Guerendo may get a drastic move up in the rankings after his combine). Steele was still available at 212 in this draft as a fall back.

26. Cooper DeJean, S Iowa
57. Adisa Isaac, EDGE Penn State
63. Edgerrin Cooper, LB Texas A&M
83. Kiran Amegadjie, OT Yale
94. Braden Fiske, DT Florida State
99. Jaden Hicks, S Washington State
154. Kitan Oladapo, S Oregon State
177. Will Putnam, OC Clemson
191. Cornelius Johnson, WR Michigan
212. Isaac Guerendo, RB Louisville
218. Zach Heins, TE South Dakota State

Definitely need to trade up for Odunze.
Nix could be gone as I see him as the next QB after the top guys which probably all go top 10.

Bull. A lot of folks believe Fuaga will be there at 19. Odunze, yes, the Rams will have to trade-up.

It's not bull, it's what I believe (which is all I stated).

I can show you just as many mocks that have Fuaga as the #2 OT off the board and going as high as #10 to the Jets.

Seems a bit odd to be bargain hunting for a slow RB. They've already got one of those from Notre Dame.
When have you known the Rams under the shitferbrains twins to do the "right" thing when it comes to the draft?
