Also, remember that if the game stays close, the Lakers will need him strong at the end of the game. The way they have faded at the ends of quarters and games means he has to try and get them more rest.

It's a bit of a Catch-22!! Don't rest him and maybe he's winded at the end of the game when they need him. Rest him and maybe they are so far behind at the end of the game that they don't need him!!

Honestly, I think it depends on how close they are. If they've kept it close the whole way, then I think they fight to the bitter end. If they are down double digits even though they've been playing hard, then I think they start their vacation early!!
