Lots of RB's go on to mediocre NFL careers after having been stars in the NFL, so whats your point.

Ingram has not been healthy, but has not looked good when he was, still might break out its not too late.

TR was on a bad team and now he is on a team that likes to pass with stud at QB and already had starters at RB. Time will tell on him.

Guess you were bored and wanted to troll post huh.

as much as i love to troll bama fans........

i think theres too many intangible's here to really say for sure that bama only elevates average RBs

and you have to remember that the NFL is a passing-centric league now. its a lot harder for a good RB to make an impact there

This, now if you want to be an impact player in the NFL you play WR, QB or on the defense.

Why did you add Lacey to that bunch as well?

First year at RB on a pass happy team. He did gain over a hundred this past weekend. I think they stated that GB passes like 60-70% of the time, thats not many reps for an RB to get his yards.

In today's NFL I think your running back needs to be good inside the 20s but when you get there in the middle of field it's all about the passing game

Not sure why Bama players bust out in the NFL. So many 1st rounders and the only good one that has panned out so far is Julio Jones. Even on the defensive side, nobody is really making a name for themselves. Dez Bryant made Dre Kirkpatrick look like he had no business being in the NFL when the Cowboys played the Bengals in preseason. I said before, I'd rather our players at Texas be dominant in college, win some NC's then suck in the NFL.

I think Lacy will be fine. He's definitely better than Ingram and Richardson.

Ingram is a bust for sure. Verdict is still out on trent, but Lacy no doubt will be best of the 3.

Before this year, we went like 2 straight years without a 100 yard rusher....this year we have 3 already with 3 different backs...Starks, Franklin and Lacy. We're way more balanced compared to previous years, and we need to be given our WR injuries.

All i know is, if you open holes for Lacy, he can deliver the rock down field. He is as strong a runner as I have seen and elusive if you give him room to make a spin move or cut. Give him time to gel with the NFL way and the playbook and he will be a solid back.

Way too early to say Richardson is a bust. He did some good stuff in there tonight, and has a good skill set.

That being said, if I was an NFL GM, no way I'd take a RB at #3 overall. RBs are a dime-a-dozen, and it's more about getting two guys in your rotation who can learn and perform in your system.

that's because Dre Kirkpatrick is a bust and has no business being in the NFL.

Kareem Jackson is not making a name for himself? Mark Barron? Milliner? Dareus? All 4 Offensive Lineman that were 1st Rounders are starting?

I guess by that you meant the only one that is a unanimous pro bowl selection is Julio. Even Richardson broke Jim Brown's rookie rushing stats for a shitty Browns team.

Prior to Andre Smith in 2009 we went 8 years without a 1st rounder...so almost everybody on the Bama list is less than 4 years in the league. I don't know what you expect from your 1st rounders, but I consider starting as a rookie to be "making a name for yourself".

Not every 1st rounder pans out...we have more than our share in the last few years, but we have also had more 1st rounders in the last few years than anybody too.
