Correct. Stamkos has the team record at 58. So Boucher would need 11 more goals in the team's final 15 games. It would be tough, but a big game or two would go a long way.

Some guy named Charles Sarault, I'm not totally sure, but I think he might be undrafted. He's Boucher's center it appears and assists on a ton of his goals. If he's actually undrafted, I see absolutely no reason why the Devils shouldn't try to sign this guy, he can't cost a ton, and as we've seen from the Super Line this year, chemistry can take players to new heights.

I'm not totally sure, but it most definitely is the most in recent history. If you look at our early high round picks that were forwards (JJ, Ted, Matteau) none of them spent any time in Jr's (Matteau did for half a year).

Clarkson put up 33 in his last year in Jr (20 y/o) -- Boucher is in his 19 y/o season

Henrique put up 38 in his 20 y/o season.

Zajac and Parise played NCAA.

Keep in mind folks that even though he's putting up these huge numbers he still needs to keep improving as a player. Henrique and the like don't just arrive ready for stardom, they have to keep moving onward and upward.

Of course it can't hurt when you've obviously got the natural scoring ability of this guy. It certainly wouldn't hurt if we could find a really good setup man to play center.

It's nice to hear though, I cant remember a devils prospect ever getting this much attention at such a young age. They even mentioned him on the radio today during the game on how he's close to breaking Stamkos's goals record.

Hard to get too excited though, we won't see this kid for a few years. Any video on the goals he has scored this year? Would be curious to see how he's been scoring.
