The deal about Paul he is given a 3 star but if you look at his offering list, it's not bad. Florida, Florida State, Texas, Texas A&M, Okie State to name a few...One thing about him is that if you look at the #1 player in the nation RB Leonard Fortunette, Paul blocks for him, and his tapes show him just pancaking players and opening up huge holes for Fortunette.
Well I am sure we have heard about the newest edition of the 2014 class. Huge pick up

Watched him during the Army All-American game, he ended up being the MVP.
I don't care how many stars that guy has, a guy that big is an asset. Let him work with the offensive line coach.
Interesting thing I like to do is go back 3-4 years and look at who Rivals and Scouts had ranked as can't miss 5 star recruits and how they actually produced. You would be surprised how often they miss on these guys. Of course you get some like AD that even a blind man could see was a stud but those are few and far between. Keep in mind Sam Bradford was a lightly recruited 2-3 star guy that went #1 in the draft. Our 2010 class was supposed to be the best Stoops ever got with the Cali-Trio and it never produce huge on the field for OU although you could say they were successful since Stills is still playing in the playoffs this weekend and Jefferson has made an NFL team. Clay still TBD. I think the most important thing is to get the right size athletes for the scheme you want to play and then coach them up. Mike Stoops is on record saying the Sooners need to get bigger on the D-line to compete with power running teams. I don't want to get as big as Bama is with their LB's but I think the D-line could use some lead in that butt. I think our LB's being a little undersize but faster really helps. For example Striker going around the edge against Bama's stud left tackle. But I really believe that if Bama lines up and plays conservative football where they run it the majority of the time instead of letting McCaron throw it they would have probably beaten us in the Sugar Bowl.
Yeah, Alexander and Tapper were both 3 stars and are pretty much getting serious accolades for their play. He had some hiccups, but Zach Sanchez was a 3 star as well....and the sky is the limit in regards to what we are going to see in a couple of years from him.
Zach still scares me in coverage seems too short to me to play corner especially with all the giant WR's. There was someone else starting there at the beginning of the season? I really liked the play when Colvin was down for that game or two.
