at first I was like yea, D+ because it is not like they keep games from finishing or cause riots yet...but not failing them seems really generous...but yes -3 out of 10 seems like the most accurate.

I can forgive mistakes, being corrupt is something I have difficulty accepting, especially when it comes from the NBA itself.

I think the refs take too much criticism. The NBA is not an easy game to officiate. It's a very fast and physical game. Bad/missed calls are going to happen every game. It generally evens out.


The refs aren't any different than they were 10, 20 years ago. It's just a lot easer to scrutinize them these days with the internet, high definition videos, etc.

Obviously they make a large number of mistakes. At times, it seems predominately against one team. What I have difficulty understanding is how they miss so many things that commentators can see from a fixed seated position. I mean, they sort of triangulate, right?

Small wonder a lot of people think the NBA is fixed. Not saying it is. Not saying it isn't.

Not all of the NBA is fixed, but several games are fixed. Not most, but more than enough to make one annoyed.
