I can see the comparison, but Russ was built like a HB coming out of college.

Taking a peak at next years schedule, it looks absolutely brutal right now.
We play:
NFC East
AFC North
Lions/packers winner
Titans
Saints
Niners x2
Rams x2
Throwing a rookie QB into this meat grinder is going to hurt.
For sure, it could end up being cupcake next year. You can't really worry about that sort of stuff.
The AFC West and NFC West were supposed to be, by far, the toughest divisions in football this year. Turns out that was far from true.
For sure, it could end up being cupcake next year.
That said, I have to imagine the rams will recover and the cards may as well, those two teams could account for almost half our wins this year.
The 32-year-old veteran has proven to be a franchise quarterback in his first season as a starter with Seattle, leading the league in completion percentage (70.2 percent) and ranking fifth in passer rating (102.9). Cody Benjamin of CBS Sports predicts that Smith will re-sign with the Seahawks on a two-year, $59 million deal ($29.5 million per year), which would make him the 12th-highest paid quarterback in the league for the 2023 season.
We could let him test the market and find out, wuold be very risky.
The way he talked about the jets, I wouldnt be surprised to see them make an offer
Is the pay increase worth the increase tho?
I like that line "the mirage of greatness blinds all who seek one" that should apply to finding a stud DL also since so many here seem absolutely desperate to draft one ASAP .
Who was the last QB in a draft you had faith in?I don't have faith in Stroud, Young or Levis
Lawrence was a surefire pick and it looks to be panning out.Who was the last QB in a draft you had faith in?
Lawrence started pretty rough though.Lawrence was a surefire pick and it looks to be panning out.
Burrow was too and he definitely panned out.
Bryce young has the talent to be elite. The problem is his size, basically no QB his height and weight has ever panned out im the nfl
Yes it was no mystery that he would go 1.01 in the draft. It was fortunate the HC got fired and a more competent HC hired or he likely ends up a bust.Yeah but he was a clear blue chipper coming out of college. He was considered the No. 1 pick once he declared when he was a freshman.
Who else did you have confidence in?Lawrence was a surefire pick and it looks to be panning out.

Even worse, he could have been drafted by the Jets.Yes it was no mystery that he would go 1.01 in the draft. It was fortunate the HC got fired and a more competent HC hired or he likely ends up a bust.
