The talking heads are always right. Not. In fact they are wrong 90% of the time. I expect a much improved team with about the same record as last year. It's gonna take a few drafts to restock the shelf's. Cutler is holding back a great offense and Fangio will make the defense better just by coaching alone. Plus we added a few nice pieces on both sides of the ball. I think we are gonna be respectable. The future looks bright for once. I wish we really had a chance at the top pick next year but we'll end up with 6 to 9 wins and not be able to draft a top QB. It's our fate.

How can you expect a much improved team if they have the same record of 5-11? There is no improvement at all in that case

Well losing close games is a improvement over being blown out. We were out of a lot of games by halftime last year. Not giving up 30 points a game will be a improvement. Having a plus T/O ratio will be a improvement. Seeing a team that plays hard for 4 qtrs will be a improvement. I think this team will be much better and compete in most every game. I don't see the win total as the only sign of improvement.

So your thinking is the Bears will have a bad year record wise, but be competitive? Wouldn't it be better to hit rock bottom and then start over, as opposed to being just good enough to be competitive and needing lots of things to fall in your favor to be a .500 club? You should cheer for them to suck, go 2-14 or some crap, have the Chicago media going ballistic, the fans wanting to fire everyone and team to be flat embarrassed so they actually start over.

Call me the exception to the rule but John Fox scares the hell out of me. His staff isn't near as inept as the last two bozos the Bears had. I think it may take a year or two but they will be a pain in our hinder again soon.

Packers bathroom? Why not, it is the smelliest, stinkiest room in the house. :pound:

As opposed to Bear's fans, who prefer the kitchen to be the smelliest, stinkiest room in the house.
