I hear that. I heard they want to get Hamels a few innings of work too so maybe the same for Blanton and Kendrick. Maybe Blanton the first three, Hamels to the 6th and Kendrick to the 8th. Then let Mad-Dogg shut down the 9th. I like the sound of that.

World series this and World Series that....

(1) Cliff Lee came up small Vs the Cards. If he pitches the way he was supposed to there isn't even a game 5. HE was paid a ton of fucking money to do more than he did in Game 2.
(2) I could see for months that this team could fizzle in the playoffs. Except for a few weeks, this team's approach at the plate was atrocious in 2010 and 2011. Giving Ryan Howard 3-0 green lights: the number of times I've seen the green lights backfire are nauseating.
(3) Unkle Charlie, IF and I say IF you ever again get a chance to manage a team in the playoffs keep your fat fucking trap shut as to who "going to win the series" because if you are wrong (AND YOU WERE) you end up looking like a fucking JACKASS.
(4) This off season: Re-tool. Lots of Phillies are getting long in the tooth. (Polanco/Ibanez/Lidge/Oswalt/MORE) Since 2008 the team's season is over earlier and earlier each season. If Rollins wants 5 years let him walk. The team was on a roll when he was injured and stopped when he came back into the lineup.
