Final out, but this team has no surrender
The Braves had the best pitching today. Also the Phillies can not keep their current winning percentage. This loss is part of the problem. The Phillies have not learned to beat the teams they should beat like Atlanta. Seriously? 5-1 to the Braves? Just a couple of weeks ago we had a winning April and we were playing the Nats and Mets tough.
The Phillies should send Goeddel to the minors. He is struggling. He has never played above AA ball prior toNobody was beating Perez yesterday. I like the talk about bringing hot hitting Joseph up for Ruf. I think any fan can predict that within 30 days there will one or two callups. You can't have half a lineup hitting .180 for a couple of months. Rebuild or not, why waste great pitching. It's time for recycling the slackers.
Goeddel is rule 5. Can't be sent to minors. Must be offerred back to his previous team. And please, no more Ruf in the outfield. The Phillies should send Goeddel to the minors. He is struggling. He has never played above AA ball prior to
his promotion to the Phillies. Let him get some more experience and at bats in the minors. Then they could call up Joseph while he is hot. Ruf could get some spot starts in the outfield against lefties. Seems to me that it could
work in the Phils favor.
They should put him on waivers if the other team does not want him. Goeddel is a wasted roster spot.Goeddel is rule 5. Can't be sent to minors. Must be offerred back to his previous team. And please, no more Ruf in the outfield.
Much like pron, the All-Star ballots have extended to the internetWe need to stuff those ballot boxes to get Herrera in the All Star game. I forget, where do you get the ballots? Do they still have them at Acme by the Schick Razor displays?
