Pens not in action tonight, but I will be keeping a close eye on the Rangers vs Blue Jackets. Go BJ's!

Although the change from Johnston to Sullivan isn't as dramatic as the change from Therrien to Bylsma, I see many similarities between this 2016 team and that 2009 team that won tCup.

I could see Kuhnhackl being this year's Max Talbot. Kid is fearless.

Conor Sheary also has that Max Talbot sneakiness.

So it's a toss up.

Only thing I don't like about this team is Ian Cole (he's obviously our weakest link) and our lack of size.

No one could call us dirty this year, this is probably the cleanest Pens team since the Ivan Hlinka days.

BTW, the Hlinka era Pens would've been a heck of a team under modern rules.

I like this team more than I liked the '09 team. I feel like this year's team is deeper and better on offense. If Geno gets back into the lineup in the postseason, that'll just make us even deeper. I also love the Bonino and Cullen acquisitions. Guys like them are crucial if you want to make a run.

Like what this Kuhnhackl brings to the team, one heck of a 2 way player, like Ryan Callahan but with more speed.

Our youngsters have been great this year. Rust, Sheary, Kuhnhackl, Sundy, Pouliot, and Matt Murray have all helped win games, which truly is a luxury. I've always thought depth was the key component to any Cup winning team, and this year's team has great depth.

Pens will need this depth...Flower with a concussion, and the lack of size is going to hurt when they play teams in a 7 game series that hits

That said, sweep this week and keep the fear of the Penguins in the minds of the Crapitals and Phlyers!

It's looking like it's gonna be the Rangers in round 1. Maybe we can finally get past Henrik this year. :hope:

Been tough the past 2 seasons, but I think we got the team to do it this year.

Pens @ Sens tonight. Very winnable game, probably our most winnable game left.

Who should we start tonight? I would just go with Matt Murray. He's been on a roll (except for that Sabres game) plus he's had a day to rest. At the same time, this would be the game to start Jeff Zatkoff if we're going to start him again this season.

I'd keep Murray out there. The more he plays prior to the playoffs the better off he'll be if he plays in the postseason.

I agree, he's in a groove, plus the Sens have a pretty good offense so it should prep him well for the Caps game coming up on Thursday.

Worth mentioning, Rangers play the Lightning tonight at MSG & the Islanders play the Capitals at the Verizon Center.
