He still hasn't officially retired, and since he's not reporting to camp, he's fined $30,000 dollars a day. Either Palmers waiting out and doesn't wanna retire, or he's blowing a lot of money waiting.

That $30,000 only applies to training camp which is over. It would've been subtracted frm his paycheck which he isn't receiving anyways since he hasn't reported.

Willie never said Palmer was talking about coming back. Willie said he was trying to convince Palmer when he met with Brown a couple weeks ago, likely to make a last ditch effort to be traded.

Oh, it's subtracted from the paycheck? I didn't know that, I thought it was just a normal fine he had to pay.

The whole saga will be over in 2.5 weeks. If he's going to come back, it'll be within that time. If the first regular season game is played before he comes back, you can expect him to sit out the season.

I wasn't aware how the fine was handled either. I actually typed up a post saying I think they deduct it from the paycheck, but it didn't sound right in my head so I deleted it. LOL. Thanks Flaming.

Willy also came back and said "never mind" "Aint' happening". He "tried to get something worked out for both sides, but no one was giving in".

Palmer is not coming back.

Also, once the Bengals put Palmer on the retired/did not report I'm not sure if he got fined for each day missed or not. But, you know with MB and money, that money is not going to Palmer one way or another.
