There's a pretty big loophole in that amendment. It only includes a coach's "base salary". ADs will just give them huge bonuses to make up for it.
"SEATTLE – No. 3 Stanford captured its first Pac-12 Conference Championship on Saturday with a dramatic 6-5 comeback against Washington on Saturday at Husky Ballpark.
The line on the UW vs Auburn game should be Auburn -6.5 imo.My thoughts on week 1:
UCLA -16.5 vs. Cincy
BYU +15.5 vs. Arizona
Oregon -27 vs. Bowling Green
UNC +5.5 vs. California
Auburn -2.5 vs. Washington
USC -28 vs. UNLV
Arizona State - 17 vs. UTSA
Ohio State -38 vs. Oregon State
SDSU +15 vs. Stanford

Trailing 5-3 in the bottom of the ninth, Will Matthiessen's two-run home run tied the game at five before Nico Hoerner beat out an infield single to score Alec Wilson with two out. The championship is Stanford's first since 2004 in the first season under Clarke and Elizabeth Nelson Director of Baseball David Esquer.
Sixteen regional hosts for the NCAA Tournament will be announced on Sunday at 5:30 p.m. PT, followed by the release of the entire postseason field at 9 a.m. on Monday. Stanford is expected to host a regional site for the 17th time in program history."

Nothing was better than watching UW and OSU lose out on a PAC 12 championship on the same day

GL2U in that tourney, hope your team wins it all.

Yep. AD's will get creative.
I wonder how/if this effects USC and Stanford. As private schools, I'm not sure they even have to disclose what they are paying coaches.
