I haven't been following the story, is he away from the team?

Saying indefinite leave. Hope everything turns out okay.

Not sure I'd agree on Saros and Sorokin. I'd replace with Demko and Ullmark.

Devils get spanked 4-1 by the Yotes and are 3-7 in their last 10.

Can we say Lindy maybe wasn’t the problem?

They should hire him back really fast.

Not sure the context. This year? Career?

if he is including Saros, guessing he’s looking more at career.
I took it as more of a "best right now" regardless of results.

Alexander Nylander has scored one third of his career goals the last 2 weeks with the Blue Jackets. #21 tonight. 7th since the trade.

If Jarmo was still employed he'd already have an 5.5 x 8 year contract.

This should be the Devils thought process for their final game against the Rangers. Hey you want Mika and Panarin for the playoffs?

Why are people upset with him going slow? He is within the rules.

I think people are just upset with the shootout. The answer is to go back to ties, the most popular sport in the world still uses ties except for playoffs and knock-out tournaments and fans are okay with this approach.

I remember a game prior to having OT in the regular season (the Hawks were playing the Leafs I think) and Chicago needed the two points to stay in the playoff hunt. The game was tied late and the Hawks pulled the goalie and if memory serves, Steve Thomas scored the GWG with the goalie pulled for an extra attacker. I guess we recently saw something similar with the Wild pulling their goalie in OT and it worked for them as well, but I just want to go back to a league where all games are worth the same amount of points.

/I don't care if it's two points or three points.

I just watched an Elliotte Friedman tv spot as he's down at the NHL general manager meetings in Florida and he mentioned the big topic of discussion on day 1 was video review of puck over glass infractions. I'm pleased to see that they're tackling an issue that's foremost on the minds of hockey fans these days.

Sad thing, it is the only penalty they can't screw up. Or most of the time can't screw up.
