How about getting the train back on track today with a regulation win over the Kings?

Man, I think a 51 year old pudgy Martin Brodeur could make more saves than Daws and Schmid.

And hey, how about that 2:30 of ice time for Kurtis MacDermid today?

/He was at 2:06, but with the game out of reach, looks like he got a 24 second shift lol

//Final TOI was 3:10

Good one, this team is checked out

I think Lindy deserves some of the blame, but what the heck is Fitzgerald doing not getting a goalie? I don't know exactly what happened between the Flames and Devils talks, but if Fitzy got cheap with his ask for Markstrom, that's not sending a great message to his team.

Ideally both Fitz and Lindy are gone. Outside of lucking into Jack Hughes Fitz has been a train wreck. Hasn't figured out goaltending in years, hung on to Hynes and Ruff too long, his pro level moves have been almost entirely lackluster, when we had cap space he never utilized/weaponized it.

2 years too late. Probably can't salvage this season

They need to find a Roger Nielson who took over for Harry Neale late in the 81-82 season (I think with something like 10 games left in the season) and he took the Canucks to the Stanley Cup final before losing to the juggernaut Isles.

/That was also the Miracle on Manchester year.
