Nats stay pissing me off. What kind of major league team has that ridiculous 8th inning in a tied game? Let's give our opponents 6 outs every freaking inning.

Roark blows a 5-1 lead. Matt Williams has to leave the starters in longer than they should be because the bullpen gives up runs every game. And oh hey Barrett just left with a trainer.

This team is medicore. We only have hope because the NL East is the absolute worst

Espi playing 1st base today. Heh. Cant blame Matty, gotta change things up

First game in the series gets off to a late start after a 2 hour rain delay. Strasburg vs. Wood tonight, in Strasburg's 1st game back off the DL. Looked decent in the first, though threw a lot of pitches.

Span then led off the Nats 1st with a double, and Rendon singled him home. 1-0 Nats after one.

Span singles home Taylor in the 3rd. 2-0 Nats with 1 out, Span on 1st and Rendon up.

Strasburg through 4 scoreless, allowed 3 singles so far, 5 K's. Looks pretty good. 68 pitches so far, so efficiency not great, but I'll take that for now if it means he's getting the ship righted.

Taylor singles home Espi to make it 3-0 in the 4th.

Strasburg gives up a 1-out double and walks the pitcher in the 5th, but gets out of it with no damage done. 94 pitches through 5. I think he may be done for the night. Good comeback outing for him.

Brewers beat the Mets tonight, so the Nats have a chance to pick up a game on both them and the Braves tonight with a win.

Roark comes in for the 6th and gets a 1-2-3 inning.

Maybin hits a solo shot off Thornton with 2 outs in the 8th. 3-1 Nats.

Next 2 batters single off Thornton. Carpenter coming in to face Uribe with runners on 1st and 2nd with 2 outs.
