Not the finish we wanted and its a shame that all we had to do was not lose the series against a 3rd place team but it seems like the Angels were motivated to spoil our playoff shot. With that being said there are so many good things to expect next season and this young team is growing this reminds me of the Seahawks when they were young and motivated to win.

As for Kyle Seager I think its better for him to go. He gave us a lot of good years through the bad times and I think we owe it to him to let him go and play for a team that is trying to win. Maybe he will team up with his brother on the Dodgers or even play on the Yankees. Kyle has a few good years in him let him see his options.

On another note I think its funny how times have changed I remember when we sucked and everybody was hoping we could trade him for a lower level prospect or even release him. Now everyone wants to pay him 20 mil to stay on the team.

This weekend definitely didnt go the way we wanted. Being at the game yesterday, I can if there is one positive you take from this weekend is the crowd. The two games on tv and yesterday, I can tell the they brought it. Even after moments where things could have died. I hope management sees what can happen when you give them something to cheer about. It's time to take the next step now.

Servais has overall done a great job this year, I think he has grown at times. I didnt love playing Moore over Fraley every game despite the LH starters. But at the same time I think you pretty much squeezed everything you could have reasonably asked out of this group. Dipoto has arguably one of the better jobs out there when you consider a deep farm system and minimal payroll commitments. This winter needs to be a huge huge step

Guess they really didn't want it bad enough
idk the team I watched this weekend I feel pretty opposite of this.

I saw a team that pressed too hard (specifically Friday night) and likely weren't ready for this moment.

I would never accuse this group of not trying hard enough or not caring enough.

The players specifically played their guts out this year, there's just only so far a duct tape and bubble gum roster can take you. That's what needs to change.

Who else? Pretty sure Angel Hernadez is the other one. CB Bucknor is another?
That is how bad they are when you don't have to mention them by name yet another baseball guy guesses it right away.

that is ..lol..my que ...ok...so..
im thinking Robbie Ray 38..and how they are going to afford that...which..the dodgers would ...just...do it..

but the cheap guys way...would be this......double kikuchi and paxton....now you would see ....paxton or kikuchi...in the rotation..the other would be in the bull pen....pax has an injury history...kikuchi has ..a burn out prob...could work..for every one....

yep..that is all i have today...other than cut ties...with one or the other..or both..i dont think that will happen.........

cut ties with both. Time to act like a real major league organization and stop going after comeback stories because they are cheap.

I’d be surprise if the MLB don’t do anything about Angel Hernandez… he needs to be canned. He made one of the worst call during the Indians/Royals game this year.

Completed his second season with the Mets in 2020, appearing in 45 games... Finished the season strong, hitting .274/.308/.516 with three doubles, four home runs and nine RBI over his final 21 games, after batting .213/.289/.288 with three doubles, a home run and six RBI in his first 24 games... Had three extra-base hits, including two doubles and a home run, and drove in four on Sept. 11 at Toronto.

2019

Owned baseball's longest hitting streak of the season (26 games) from August 3 to September 3...Hit .430 (43-100) during the streak and raised his season batting average from .256 to .298.... His .288 batting average led all catchers in 2019...Also ranked second in hits (136), fourth in on-base percentage (.351), fifth in RBI (73), and tied for seventh in walks (44).... His 73 runs batted in were the second-most of his career (had 80 RBI in 2016)... His 141 games played and 44 walks were both career-highs.... Drove in six runs on August 3 - the day he started his 26-game hitting streak - against the Pirates, which set a new career high (drove in five runs three times before).... Stole his first career base on August 23 against Atlanta.... Tied his career-best with four hits three times this season, all in the month of August...Had four hits in a game five times prior to the 2019 season.... Hit .346 (37-107) vs. lefties, the 10th-best batting average in baseball (min. 100 at-bats)... Hit .307 (39-127) with runners in scoring position.... Crushed the fourth grand slam of his career on May 14 at Washington against Jeremy Hellickson.

2018

Named to his second-career All-Star team...Was voted the AL's starting catcher but did not play due to injury...Was on the 10-Day Disabled List, July 18-August 14 (left hamstring strain)...While on the DL, was acquired by the Phillies from Tampa Bay on July 31 in exchange for a player to be named later or cash considerations...Among catchers, ranked third in RBI (65) and seventh in extrabase hits (36)...Had the 10th-most homers in that group (15)...His 130 OPS+ was the second-best by a catcher (J.T. Realmuto had a 131 OPS+)...Ranked second in the majors with a .402 average (39-97) with runners in scoring position (min. 110 PA)...Only Houston's Yuli Gurriel (.403) had a higher average with RISP...Batted .321 (34-106) with seven doubles, six home runs and a .916 OPS against left-handed pitching...In 33 games with the Phillies after being activated from the DL, hit .337 (30-89) with eight doubles, a triple, one homer, 17 RBI, 10 walks and an .879 OPS...Collected a career-high three extra-base hits in his first game as a Phillie on August 15 vs. Boston... Had an extra-base hit in a career-best eight-straight games from April 16-28...The last catcher with a longer extra-base hit streak was Sandy Alomar Jr., who had a nine-game streak from September 28, 1996-April 13, 1997...Also had a seven-game extrabase-hit streak, July 9-August 16.

he is...better..late in the season...a guy..that if you dont have...you might trade for...at the deadline.....
put him in against left handed pitching....he will rake it..............

I like Manny Pina as a FA catcher pickup. He's year older than Ramos and had 1.5 WAR in 208 PA. Pina's framing, according to Fangraphs for the last 3 seasons, was 6.3, 1.4, and 4.0. respectively. His DRS was 7, 4, and 7. respectively.

Ramos framing was -7.6, -0.7, and -3.5, respectively. His DRS was -11, -1, and -9, respectively.
