Yusei Kikuchi 18
here is the prob with kikuchi,,is he is prob an awesome,...bull pen guy..as we saw him before..the all star break....he can pitch..but he got burned out..by august.......so i would say..it is time for bull pen

but 14 mil or 13 mil..will not do for a bull pen guy.........so...
re negotiation...would be good...maybe with a 10 mil signing bonus...worth in the end..13 mil...but more years...at 3mil..plus bonuses...but
i dont know if ..that is possible....

or something that makes sense anyway........

All in all, I feel so much better at the end of this season. Yeah, it would have been great to be a WC team this season, but it just wasn't meant to be. On the plus side, I must admit, I have seen some awesome growth in Servais and his ability to improve his use of the pen and making timely decisions when to pull pitchers and which pitchers to bring in from the pen. In the past, as much as I have been pissy about Seager, he has turned me around this season. He's always had great defense, but this season, he was his most consistenly good offensively, so I will miss him at 3rd. High hopes for Gilbert and Kelenic's continued growth. JP is awesome, France did a great job and looking forward to seeing Lewis healthy and so many other positives for next season. I would never....ever...thought we'd go into game 162 with absolutely any possibility of being close to a WC spot. So, imo, this season has been a real shot in the arm (not Covid...lol) for me with this team and looking forward to what we'll see with the M's in 2022. Hawks won today, so now something more to look forward to. :thumb:

Good season boys. One would think maybe 1 series win would make a difference. Perhaps a win against the DBacks.

Losing to the D-Backs hurt. Dropping 2 out of 3 to Angels hurt even more.

This team fought and clawed all they could….. just simply not looking enough this last series. Angels must be so damn proud playing the spoiler role.

That Seager moment...it was the nicest firing I've ever seen in my 54 years on earth.

If this is Kyle’s last year he’ll be greatly missed…. But some key players will need to step up next year to keep the production going. Namely Kelenic and bring Haniger back at all cost.

That is my worry for next year. How do you replace a gold glove 3B who averages about 90 RBI's a year? One guy can't do it so you need to get a stud with similar numbers and then add players to make up for the black holes we had in the lineup already. Haniger will be the most interesting case. I hate having guys of value on their last year of a contract. When they walk you lose a chip for nothing.

My favorite moment of the year.

There are some great players that have gone through this organization and this is on par with the likes of Griffey, Edgar, and Ichiro when they left the field. Hopefully this ain’t it.

This chaps me even more.

This tells me he’s gone. A player making a comment like this shows some real issues and even if they want to pick up his 20mil… who knows if he agrees to it.

Why you need veterans who are good people on your team if you want to build something special.

Heck of a season. They exceeded my expectations by a long ways. I don't think anyone thought they would win this many games. This team could be really good next year.

With Seager likely gone… Ichiro, Felix, and Seager combined for 1 postseason appearance. This should absolutely be the line….the line that the front office draws and say enough is enough. This is very much on par with having a roster with Griffey, Edgar, Johnson and not make it to the WS.

Hopefully these “new era” of youngins will break the curse.

They got to experience what it’s like to win and have the fans shows up. Now keep it going.
