Be honest. You're actually relieved you didn't have to come to Auburn and take that brutal beatdown that was inevitable. I mean we've only played twice but they have been soul-sucking ass-kickings that honestly your program has yet to recover from.

So, TAMU was spreading their cheeks to the SEC, willing to have their asses abused in recurring trains if only the SEC would let them in. Thirteen doesn't work, so the SEC had to find another school to join along with TAMU. Mizzou was available and open to a new conference. After all, the B12 didn't exactly covet their membership.

The SEC being full of twisted southerners, there was no way they'd realign the divisions geographically. Besides, TAMU believed themselves the equal of LSU, Bama, and Auburn. They didn't want conference realignment to put them in a sissified version of the West division. So, the SEC PTBs jammed the second westernmost member in the East - That school in the other Columbia, Mizzou.
