I never considered decimal scoring for Field Goals
Now that I see it in print it looks great and would get my vote

As for missed field goals well. I'm with Joe here even though almost every league I have played in has negative for a miss. Who really is at fault. The snapper the holder or the kicker
Thus if you score neg for a miss you are actually scoring a team stat
Maybe Milk is wearing me down but if we used team kicker than the team is at fault and thus the negative could be useful
However we thankfully do not use team kicker so here is where I'm with Joe. Who is at fault

uh oh what about from the other side of the fence. Who gets the credit the kicker alone for the positive points

Hmmmm. Maybe sometimes our democratic ways dwell to deeply. It is after all only a kick and a kicker. Now that's a kicker

Ps. If we go negative I'm with Treff any 40 plus can not be penalized

Well see

Must sites it would be too much. Yahoo for example only allows 15 different scoring stats per. To do the decimal correctly, I will have to put about 50-55 in there. I have thought about this scoring before, but never had a site that could do it.

I was mistaken Barilko, it was scoring D that I have to put all the different scoring in for. FG yards/10 is only 1.

Waiver system. ..given the convo T and I had, that'd be a GREAT discussion to have. ..or you can dictate that. ..as long as it isn't FAAB

I would be fine with dictation too... As long as it isn't the weekly reset. :suds:

I would be down to compromise with rolling waivers like we have in MBBRL.

To be honest, I'm not sure I understand how rolling waivers works.
I don't think I've ever rolled up to the top 2 or 3 spot?

And I remember 1 week in particular when I was close to the top of the waiver tree, I didn't even submit a waiver claim for that week, but picked up someone late in the week (perhaps to fill a bye need), and the next thing I knew I was dead last (12th).
I don't get it?

Strange. It shouldn't be like that. You should only move to the back when you make a waiver claim. Free add/drops should not conflict.

I'd have to go back and look, but my guess is that you grabbed a dude that had been dropped in the Wednesday morning processing of waivers..which put that player on waivers for 3 days, he wasn't a "free" agent, which means you had to "claim" him, not just pick him up.

edit--After the conversation with T, I don't think I can ever refer to players as simply free agents, or say the words, you can get him for free, ever again, I'll always have to put free in quotes, and say you picked him up, instead of got him for free. There is a difference ;)

bah, of the two choices I hate, rolling waivers is the most acceptable :suds:

Treff you may be right?
I'm not sure.
I want to believe that I picked a guy up without submitting a claim.
You can check if you want to, but it is what it is. Season's over.
But I guess that just adds to my confusion.

Bottom line, I'd be in favor of the mysterious ambiguous rolling waivers.

Joe, I think I may have found the instance your referring to. On Wednesday, Nov. 4th, you claimed Allen Hurns from the 4th position, and 4 other owners grabbed players after you, one of which being Fuzzy who dropped Travis Benjamin, which would've moved you from 4th to 12th, and back up to 8th in the order, if my backwards counting is accurate.
THen the next morning, Thursday, Nov 5th you had claimed Travis Benjamin, who Fuzzy had just dropped the day prior and was on waivers, not a "free" agent. which would then moved you from 8th to 12th

Thu, Nov 5
3:30 AM Transaction
Add/Drop Joe dropped Kendall Wright, Ten WR to Waivers
Joe added Travis Benjamin, SD WR from Waivers to Bench Joe Roster
Waiver Report

Wed, Nov 4
3:30 AM Transaction
Add/Drop Joe dropped Keenan Allen, SD WR to Waivers
Joe added Allen Hurns, Jax WR from Waivers to Bench Joe Roster
Waiver Report

by the way, my favorite transaction in your history?

Thu, Oct 29
11:29 AM Transaction
Add/Drop Joe dropped Peyton Manning, Den QB to Waivers
Joe added Russell Wilson, Sea QB from Free Agency to Bench

my least favorite-although it worked out for you I guess

Sat, Oct 31
6:29 PM Transaction
Add/Drop Joe dropped Russell Wilson, Sea QB to Waivers
Joe added Ryan Fitzpatrick, NYJ QB from Free Agency to Bench Joe Roster

Thanks.

Shocking to look at the QB transactions in hindsight.
I guess Wilson hadn't taken off yet on his second-half rampage.
Plus I did have Bortles who was playing great.
