Are the Jags getting worried with Trevor and thinking of replacing him (injury concerns, Trevor has made it clear he doesn't want to play there anymore)? I mean Mac is going to be in a much better situation in Jax. Both guys are coming into their 5th year options after 2024... going to be really interesting here...

Trevor shouldnt be worried IMO, he's not the worst of the 2 options available in this scenario.

This does nothing to increase the number of NFL-level starters in the league. It does nothing to improve the number of NFL backups in the league.

Having second thoughts about a huge extension OR they just found a great opportunity for a backup to TL. You never can take a chance with injuries especially QB injuries. Better to be safe and secure a nice backup, even if for one year

You know who might be breathing the biggest sigh of relief? The AZ Cardinals. There were a number of mocks and opinions from various sports site that had the Pats taking MHJ with the #3 pick. Now it's pretty much etched in Stone that they'll be taking one of the top 3 QBs.
