I am about 6 or 7 eps in.

What Strange Things did for the 80s, this is doing for the 70s. Definite blacksploitation feel to it.

I finished it last night... actually saw all 13 episodes yesterday... I enjoyed it, but it was nothing special IMO.... there were no real high highs, but also not really and lows...

The big bad was pretty lukewarm compared to JJ orDD. That in itself lead to this problem imo

I never felt like LC was ever in any serious danger. So not much tension. He kinda' just strolled through everyone until he comes up against the special ammo.

I'm thinking future seasons where he might go up against other enhanced might solve that problem.

I liked it, but it's imo, the weakest of the 3 so far.

I agree... i feel like they got in their own way trying to create HARLEM as a character instead of just the location... Because instead of fighting real enemies, he was really there to clean harlem up... and at times it often looked like he made everything so much worse.... even how it ended, it was really like all just stayed the same, so what did he do??

I know the ringer hated it because Luke Cage is a conservative? I have not watched any of it, but that was the strangest reason to not like a Superhero show that I ever saw.

Decent season, but probably #3 of the 4 Netflix season s so far. DD1 and JJ were better, by a decent margin. First half of DD2 was also much better, but the second half left a lot to be desired.

Where was shield during all these events? This is exactly the kind of person they are looking for, and these events were all over the news. I am also surprised there was no mention of the Accords. I would assume Cage would not be against them, seeing as he made a point of not wearing a mask.

I can totally get them not wanting to clutter their setup season with a lot of extraneous noise. I'm betting season 2 will at the very least cross-over with the other Netflix Marvel players, and possibly other enhanced.

I read something recently that SHIELD will not be doing any crossovers with the "netverse". I guess the main reason for this is different tones in the shows. SHIELD is a light, almost kids show while DD, JJ and LC are very dark.

I just would like some explanation of the seperation. Or maybe a quick cameo from Colson or something.

few things, not sure about JJ since they really didn't talk about her origin, but they made it clear that LC and DD are not inhuman... agents of shield has been focusing so much on inhuman that it is not surprising that they don't notice other enhanced humans.... Even in this whole ghost rider story line, it wasn't shield that found him, Daisy found him coincidentally....

So just because there are reports of a potential enhanced human, that does not necessary mean agents of shield will be on the case at least so quickly... also, just like i mentioned in JJ, when you asked the same thing, the reports are very low scale and centralized...

I don't expect SHIELD to appear on these shows. I am only commenting on the inconsistency in the universe.

How would sheld know Cage is not Inhuman without investigating? And just because they are currently focusing on Inhumans, doesn't mean they are ignoring other powered people. Just a few years ago, they recruited Stark (not powered OR Inhuman), Banner (powered), Rogers (powered) and Thor (alien)

yea, but all those heroes made much more of a SportsHoopla(pun intended)... Luke cage, JJ and DD are all very centralized and very low scale...

Luke cage is walking around New York getting shot and tossing people a block away. That would not go unnoticed. He would garner plenty of attention.

Sure, attention... But not enough to intervene... they have ABSOLUTELY NO evidence of the enhanced human of being a danger to anyone... with all the potential enhanced human reports, i am sure they would categorize them in urgency of their interference...

we have no clue whether they are on the "watch" list or not... all we know is that they haven't interfered...
