Both are great coaches and good recruiters IMO. Out of the two, Strong is obviously more realistic IMO than Stoops is. Strong has great ties to the Southeast and in Florida for recruiting. It would be a shift away from their usual Texas recruiting, but it may be a good plan for Nebraska. They'll still get some midwest kids regardless.
Excellent point about the recruiting ties. If Stoops can bring kids to Norman, Strong could bring kids to Lincoln. Not only would he be able to use his SE ties, but he could retain their inroads in Texas and likely further develop some inroads into Ohio and Pennsylvania that he's worked on at Louisville. Seems like a pretty good choice.
