A few guys might trade. But not Akers.
Tried trading Fields in the offseason - to Bears fans mind you - nada.

Never know, Henderson was given a bigger role than Akers to start last season and then disappeared. Kyren isn't a big guy either

Hard to read how the Rams feel about Akers.
But like the ole adage, sometimes you are what your stats say you are.

It really depends on your roster, but I tend to give a longer leash to RBs. If you are looking at winning now, it is probably best to keep Akers. If not, Burks is the better bet for the future.

I wouldn't do it... I would keep fields... but If you are willing to make that trade, I would just get a good backup...

but I also hate lateral trades... if someone offered this to you, I would see what ELSE they would part with in this deal... Make it worth your time... don't do it just because you don't have faith in Fields...

The guy offering me Lawrence has garbage.
Thought about hanging onto Fields just in case he starts running more.
But Prescott has trouble staying out of the blue tent.

Coaching stinks.
Defense stinks.
QB stinks.
Maybe the Bears fire Eberflus and Getsy tonight. That would help.

I get it... but your bear fandom/pessimism is getting in the way... like you originally said they are only 4 points different right now,... and neither have played too well yet... And the Bears will let Fields run soon... which is fantasy cheat code...

either way this is not the trade that will effect your team that much...


the only thing this trade does for you, which may make it worth it by itself, is that it takes away the headache of Fields... the even though his fantasy numbers are good, you just don't like him or trust him... WITH AN OUTSIDE CHANCE OF FIELDS LOSING THE JOB AT SOME POINT

Let me stop you there. The rest of your post makes sense.

This owner treats his dynasty team like a redraft league. He has owned and traded away Mahomes, Burrow, Higgins, etc. for garbage. He outright cut Burks and others. He is never happy with anyone very long. His team is essentially weekly waiver wire adds.

Believe it or not, his team is not even the worst in the league. He actually is a scrapper. Some of his decisions tho, he makes @The Foot look like a genius.

Since you are a bears fan why did you draft Fields?

At this point I call it a win-win for you by trading him away. But you drafted him so you had to have faith and if you had faith is it really gone completely after 2 games?
