Just saw this on my news feed, Mark Cuban is selling the Mavericks to Sheldon and Miriam Adelson, 2 of the Trumpiest billionaires in the country.

Yes he is still managing day to day
That sucks, because Cuban sucks at running the basketball side of things.
He meddles too much in the GMs business and truly only won the one championship because he had a HOF power forward and GM in Donny Nelson putting together a good roster. He's like a somewhat more tame Jerry Jones.

The Adelson family can get fucked with a dildo covered in rusty razor blades.

Cool that Cuban is still running the day to day though

Oh so he is still running it but as minority partner? OK thanks

Yeah and put a cool 5 bil or so in the bank
I’ve read that this is going to be the pathway to Cuban getting skin in the game in the casino business and maybe even being able to merge his current facility with a casino that is attached to the building or at least in close enough proximity to be in the same complex. Cuban is an incredible business man.

You don’t mean in TX do you? Texas doesn’t have gambling.

He (Cuban) & Tilman Fertitta along with all the other sports team owners in TX (even Jerrah) came really close to getting casino gambling on the legislative docket this year. There is little doubt they will try again in 2025. Only person that stood in their way this time was Dan Patrick. Don’t think for a second that he can’t be bought.

I bet he is already bought by the Tribes in OK. The largest and third largest casinos in the world set right on the OK side of the border. They are going to spend a lot of money to keep that.

I’m sure they will and I’m sure the Sands & Golden Nugget will spend equally.

Speculation is that he might be gearing up for a run for president. He also just quit Shark Tank too. He's entirely liquid now with money to spend. Just opened up his entire schedule while having a backup plan of going back to running the Mavs if it doesn't work out. Seems like could be a legitimate play.

I wondered when I saw this whether Cuban was having financial problems. He gets involved in a lot of questionable ventures IMO.

Not a big Cuban fan but he is the kind of guy that would have a chance forming a 3rd party. The Country needs that.

I would be surprised if that was the case
